Big Society Capital: Directory of intermediaries

Big Society Capital has established the first directory of organisations providing finance and support to the social sector to help you find the investment you need. The interactive directory provides an A-Z of investors and intermediaries and filters to search under 'investment', 'business advice and support' and 'grant'.

'Finding the right investment is not easy,' it says. 'There is finance and support out there but you will need to invest time and effort to ensure you get the most appropriate finance and support for you.'

Key things to consider, it says, are what you need finance for, your legal structure, your stage of development, your business model and whether you have the right skills and capacity.
