The School for Social Entrepreneurs opens for new applicants
Apply for the School for Social Entrepreneurs and get funding and training to help boost your start-up
Budding social entrepreneurs are being invited to apply for the School for Social Entrepeneurs, the programme which takes grassroots entreprenuers and offers funding and learning to help start or scale up a social enteprise.
The School for Social Entrepreneurs are looking for almost 300 recruits with grassroots entrepreneurial flair from all walks of life for the Lloyds Banking Group Social Entrepreneurs Programme. Applicants can apply online at www.the-sse.org/lloyds and the deadline is 2 April.
Successful applicants will receive comprehensive learning at one of 13 locations nationwide, a free financial contribution starting at £4,000 upwards to £25,000 to fund their organisation and a senior mentor from Lloyds Banking Group during the one year course.
The programme is supported with funding from Lloyds Banking Group, with additional funding of £6m from the Big Lottery Fund. The funding boost has enabled the School for Social Entrepreneurs to increase the number of delivery locations from seven to 13.
