Caught on camera: the UK's trailblazing social enterprises
At the end of the first day of the UK's social investment conference, Good Deals, the RBS SE100 Index celebrated its most outstanding performers.
Described by the new minister for civil society Rob Wilson as the point of reference to the social business sector "as the FTSE100 is to business", the RBS SE100 Index is an online listing of social ventures, ranked and scored according to their growth and social impact.
The best of the 1,300 social enterprises that entered their data on the Index were shortlisted for the Awards which were this year made up of five categories.
