Candice is investment director at Big Society Capital, where she has worked since June 2013. She has a focus on place-based investing, and impact strategy development. She recently co-designed and launched Fair by Design, a fund and campaign with the goal to end the poverty premium in the UK.

Before Big Society Capital, Candice worked as a strategy consultant at The Foundation, and participated in the social enterprise leadership programme On Purpose, during which she designed and implemented a social impact measurement system for HCT Group. She has an MBA with Distinction from Oxford University’s Saïd Business School, and a Bachelors’ degree in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada).

Candice was the first On Purpose alumni representative on the On Purpose Board, and has previously volunteered with the House of St Barnabas and the Prince's Trust. She is currently on the Comic Relief Social Impact Committee and a mentor for Year Here programme participants.
