Charlie Ogilvie is a Social Innovation Fellow at Year Here, a platform for professionals to test and build entrepreneurial responses to entrenched social inequality. From the back-deck of the houseboat she's borrowing for lockdown, Charlie is supporting an innovative community centre in Canning Town, East London. She was formerly a writer and editor at the British Council in Bangkok, London and Amman and 'comms bod' for a top-ranked human rights barristers' chambers in London committed to human rights, social justice and equality. In August, as part of the Year Here programme, she will start work as a Social Impact consultant before going on to set-up and test her own social business later this year.
