Georgina manages fundraising at CAF Venturesome, the social investment arm of Charities Aid Foundation. She is responsible for their two largest funds (combined total of c. £12m) which are supported by grant-making trusts, corporate foundations and over 100 individual philanthropists. Georgina works closely with CAF’s Private Client team to bring new funders into social investment.
CAF Venturesome was established in 2002 and is one of the most active providers of impact-focused social investment in the UK. To date they have supported 480 charities, social enterprises and community groups with over £39m of affordable finance.
Prior to CAF Venturesome, Georgina was an equity trader for 10 years before embarking on a Diploma at Cass Business School in ‘Grant-making, Philanthropy & Social Investment’ and working in Kenya for a microfinance start-up.
