Matt Robinson is Head of Strategy and Market Development at Big Society Capital. Externally he is a Director of the Energise Social Impact Bond and sits on the Steering Groups for DfID's £75m Impact Fund and the Cabinet Office's £10m social incubator fund.
Prior to BSC Matt was a Deputy Director in the Prime Ministers’ Strategy Unit, overseeing a wide range of domestic policy projects for No 10 Downing Street.
Matt’s earlier career was in international development, as an economic advisor to several African and Asian governments. He holds a MA in economics from Cambridge University and an MSc in economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies.
