Mitra Ardron is a serial social entrepreneur and innovator. In 1989 Mitra co-founded the Association for Progressive Communications (apc.org), the peak body for internet human rights, with organizational members in 60 countries, and was involved in the early days of the Internet in San Francisco. Mitra founded Lumeter a leader in PAYGO technology for solar which was responsible for bringing light to 10’s of thousands of houses in Africa. He lives near Byron Bay Australia and is now focused on mentoring and supporting startups with innovative solutions that have the potential to scale to solve big problems in sustainability and poverty, and collaborates with many of the organizations at the intersection of impact, technology and innovation.
