Monica Vasquez Del Solar is head of strategy and impact at Social Nest Foundation. Monica is an impact-driven professional with over 17 years of experience shaping, executing, and overseeing impact strategies. Currently, she leads the strategy and impact area at Social Nest Foundation, functioning as a cross-cutting work to all areas in the organisation, leading the IMM system, and supporting the design and implementation of impactful initiatives with entrepreneurs and investors.
Before joining Social Nest, Monica worked for 12 years as Andean region director at NESsT. She led the investment strategies, the mentoring activities, and the IMM system at the regional level, and helped the portfolio companies achieve remarkable financial, social and environmental outcomes.
Monica holds a PhD in innovation, sustainability and business from the Comillas Pontificia university in Madrid.
