Robbie has worked within the social enterprise sector for 25 years. He has set up a number of successful social enterprises and raised £millions for regeneration schemes of all kinds. He is the Director of Can Cook CiC – a food enterprise dedicated to creating solutions to and campaigning about food poverty. Can Cook develops and retails good fresh food.
Robbie has researched and written extensively on the problems with social finance and why the UK has yet to realise real social investment. He is the co-author of a short book titled – The Investable Social Entrepreneur. The book describes an investment model called Builder Capital that he is currently developing with his co-author, Helen Heap (ex-Goldman Sachs).
