Robert Manz has spent nearly 30 years in the private equity industry in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE). He is currently a Senior Advisor to Enterprise Investors, a leading private equity fund manager in CEE that has raised nine funds totalling €2.5bn, invested in over 140 companies in the CEE region, and exited some 130 companies, including 35 public market listings. Robert joined Enterprise Investors at the firm’s start in 1990, and for a majority of the past almost 30 years was a Managing Partner at the firm.
Robert was the founding President of the Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (PSIK), established in 2002, and has served on PSIK’s board for 15 of the past 18 years. He currently heads the PSIK Philanthropy Committee (established in 2011) and is a co-creator and board member of the Valores Foundation, Poland’s first venture philanthropy fund. Robert is Chair of the Central and Eastern Europe Task Force of Invest Europe since 2003 and a member of Invest Europe’s Mid-Market Council since 2018.
