Simone van Klaveren is Head of Partnerships & Business Development at Pioneers Post.

Simone is passionate about social enterprise and strongly believes there is a role and opportunity for businesses to try and make a contribution for the better. 

In her role, Simone helps our partners to share and tell their stories to a wider audience across our platforms, creating more visibility for them – and making sure our content partnerships stay on track! Simone also manages the members of the Pioneers Post community and its subscribers, keeping the user experience at the highest possible level. Alongside that, she helps co-create, organise and deliver our events.

With a university background in communications and holding a Masters in Intercultural Communications, she started her career at a media agency in the Netherlands. When first moving to London, she worked in sales and business development for a global company that provides language and technology services.

Determined to make a change from the corporate to social enterprise sector, Simone got inspired by Pioneers Post, where she now uses her commercial and organisational skills and experience in international business development as a force for good, enjoying working with values-driven organisations, coming together in our belief to build a better world through good business.
