Tim is a Senior Lecturer in Community Development at the University of Northampton and Assistant Professor at the Rural University of Guatemala. He was appointed as one of ten national HEFCE Ambassadors for Social Entrepreneurship in Higher Education and leads the University Changemakers Campus initiative which provides cross-campus learning & experience programmes in social innovation and entrepreneurship. He has been at the University of Northampton since 2008, following 15 years working over 500 environmental law and policy projects in the oil industry in Scotland and overseas. Tim has also worked at the world-renowned Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Oxford running major European research projects. He is a serial social entrepreneur, having started, consulted on, directed, and closed numerous social enterprises. He remains a director of Spirited Consultants, a trustee of St Anne’s House and St Sunniva Skete. He is widely published on an international level and is an editor of an international social enterprise and innovation journal.
