Sarah Thelwall set up MyCake in 2007 with a view to improving access to financial data to support decision making. This work has grown into a set of standardised financial metrics, a set of sector and national benchmarks and most recently research into how financial data can be used to forecast the risk of closure and its opposite – financial resilience.
